TRAINING

3 Day (Y)INWARDS 1-1 ESSENTIALS

22-24 May, Tauranga

(Y)Inwards Movements for safe, effective, therapeutic application, Trauma informed & Fascia focussed

A small group training for practitioners who want to deepen their capacity to hold safe, regulated one-to-one spaces through Yin-based bodywork, presence, and trauma-informed awareness.

This training focuses on a small number of essential Yin poses used within a 1-on-1 therapeutic setting. The emphasis is on presence and the nuanced facilitation skills required to create genuinely safe and regulated environments.

This is not a yoga training about sequencing dozens of shapes.
It is about depth, discernment, and embodied understanding—skills you can immediately integrate into your own unique toolbox.

Over three days you will practice, observe, receive feedback, and refine your ability to hold healing space with clarity and integrity.

Working in a small group (maximum 8 participants) allows everyone to be part of each other’s learning journey and receive individual guidance.

While many professions maintain strict boundaries around touch, research continues to show that consciously consented, attuned contact can significantly support nervous system regulation, safety, and healing.

What We Explore

• Essential Yin poses for 1-1 therapeutic work
Fascia release within individual sessions
Nervous system regulation in long-held postures
• Creating and maintaining trauma-informed safe space
• Clear discernment between hands-on and hands-off support
Ethical, consent-based touch in professional settings
• The subtle art of presence — knowing when to intervene and when to step back
